On the blustery morning of July 4th, gang woke up for an early morning sunrise 🌄 safari. By 4am the children waddled onto the bus with their coffee ☕️ and biscotti. Not pointing fingers, but Zoe left her bag a’rest in the whip. While on the 4 hour safari in Kruger Natty Park, Levi and Tennessee were vigilant with their game spotlights and spotted wild zebra, impala, and wildebeest. Jordan and Lucas snuggled up in plenty of blankets and took cute pics of the scenery. After a morning full of chills and coffee, we stopped by a gift shop where Dean and Owen stocked up on impala jerky. Back at our compound, we had time to play a lot of juicy games like Chameleon 🕵🏼‍♀️ , Slapjack, rummy, etc. Staying consistent with her streak, Ava continued her dominance and defeated every competitor. Our last activity occurred during sunset where we walked along Kruger Park. While exploring, our local guide Jannie spotted a pack of probably 8 spotted, long necked people (giraffes 🦒). Luckily Andrew-Edwards Burr was there as a professional giraffe whisperer to tell them we were chill and let us take some cool pictures of them. To end America’s birthday 🇺🇸🎉, we topped off this jam packed day with burgers. Cheers!

Stay Zesty, Drew and Owen

p.s We are heading to Swaziland tomorrow where we won’t have very reliable service for a few days so the blogs might get a little bit behind. Just know we’re having a blast and can’t wait to tell you all about it!
